Motor horsepowers range from fractional to thousands for vertical and horizontal applications.

We carry and service a wide range of Holloshaft and Solidshaft vertical motors, including Weather Protected Type 1, Weather Protected Type 2, Totally Enclosed, and Explosionproof.

Weather Protected Type 1 motors are constructed to minimize the entrance of rain, snow and airborne particles. Extra protection ensures that they exceed NEMA requirements. The ventilation system is designed to provide optimum cooling to the thrust bearing and electrical components, and is available in all motor sizes.

Weather Protected Type 2 motors offer maximum protection against hostile outdoor atmospheres. The special ventilation system minimizes the entrance of high velocity air, moisture and airborne particles into the cooling passages of the motor.

Totally Enclosed and Explosionproof models are available where destructive dust, vapors and other harmful substances are found. Where Underwriters approval is necessary the Explosionproof model is the answer. They are available in motor sizes through 700 horsepower

We offer Open Dripproof, Unimount, Hostile Duty, Explosionproof, Single Phase, Corro-Duty, Automotive Duty, Farm Duty, and many other models including IEEE 841. We've got the new motor for you!
